On Tuesday, May 24th at 6:30pm we are organizing an important event for the future of all of our communities in Central Louisiana - a Regional Assembly of Congregations and Citizen Organizations at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Downtown Alexandria.
There will be delegations representing institutions from across Central Louisiana, coming together for the first time to build a way for ordinary people across race, economics, denomination, and geography to take action and solve our common problems.
This is Central Louisiana Interfaith.
We are building a powerful foundation that will allow us to tackle a broad range of issues; whether that be opportunities for youth in our communities, high utility bills, universal broadband access - whatever we decide we want to work on.
This Regional Assembly is a chance to show our communities what is possible when we truly work together and create a culture of creative collaboration. We welcome you to join us as we build up relationships to break down barriers.
